Senior Electro-Optical Engineering Technician with Vectronics in Irvine contracted through On Line Technical Services 9/2014 to present. There I have tested, troubleshot and calibration of Thermal Imaging Cameras with LabVIEW software, programed the cameras, inspected, verified, inventory, maintain lab, interfaced between management, quality, engineering and consulting on matters of safety.

 

While working for Rockwell International/Boeing B.N.A/Boeing Anaheim, Rocketdyne, El Segundo Divisions. 10/1983 to 8/2014- I held these positions: Electronic Equipment Checkout Mechanic 6 mos., then promoted to Senior Infrared Engineering Technician Lead 12 years, Senior Engineering Technician R & D 12 years, First Line Floor Leader Supervisor Engineering Services Technical Specialist III 7 years, Retired Early, to pursue positions that would be much closer to my home.

I Set up, preformed functional tests in The Electro-Optical Center/Science Center. PDS Contractor/Consultant Tech for Matustuta Avionics Div. Irvine, CA 9/1991- 3/1992

Engineering Test, fabrication, breadboarding, assist in training lab manager on how to organize lab, order parts, retain & use lab solvents, troubleshoot pwb’s, breadboards, fabricate mock up display’s for shows. Use oscilloscopes, mulitmeters, logic analyzers as well as various hand and power tools. Redlined drawings. Train employees in solder, crimping, wire-wrapping, harnessing, and layout. Test and troubleshoot system to component level, analog and digital.

On-Line Power-4/1992-5/1993 Test Supervisor

Generate drawings of all existing test equipment by ohming out and hand drawing schematics. Design new test equipment for power supplies. Write test procedures for existing test equipment and new test equipment. Generate complete schematic and mechanical drawings for all new test equipment. Train assemblers for crimping, harnessing, soldering. Instruct Technicians on Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot all Dog and Multi-problem boards and systems to component level. Systems were UPS, Single phase power supplies and 3 phase power supplies.
